For this piece, I explored myself as the subject: a woman playing pool. Through the use of high flow and high body acrylics, I experimented with layering and texture, eventually building myself into the scene.
As I was working, I documented my progress. The photos of my unfinished work became quite interesting to me, because they highlighted the contrasting nature of the different medium and captured the energy of my marks as I made them.
I included two progress photos below, which I plan to display with the original work.
